Fall a Season for Change

First of all, would like to thank all the loyal customers, wonderful people, other farms and vendors we have meet over the years. We believe local foods is key to a strong local economy. Some of you may or may not already be aware; but, would like to officially announce a few up-coming changes here @ Wildberry, Cattle Farm, LLC in support of our mission to provide fresh, healthy, lean and affordable grass-fed beef to our customers.
We have started adding Longhorn cattle to our herd, will be closing the Montgomery Curb Market in the fall, expanding our Farm Share program, expanding the purpose of our "Farm to Table Beef" Facebook Group, and in the planning phase of offering our sauces and rubs at local speciality stores.
Stocking the Field with Color ![]() Since, the start of our Farm we have solely been focused on offering only Black Angus beef. As you are aware Black Angus provides a wonderful cut of beef that is flavorful and tender. However, our desire is to expand our heard with Longhorn cattle in order to offer a leaner cut off beef (less fat) as well as the same great qualities you get from a traditional Black Angus. Did you know meat from Longhorns on average contains 10% less saturated fat than Black Angus. Longhorn beef is the healthiest red meat and definitely is a heart healthy food. Our farm will most likely start offering Longhorn beef next year's Market Season, it takes time to work in a new breed of cattle :) We still plan on offering some Black Angus beef just not as the primary source as we have done in the past as we transition our Farm to be primarily Longhorns.
